Sadly, our time has come and gone with S/V Darwin's Passage, but the dreams and memories we had aboard this most marvellous of sailing vessels will last beyond a lifetime. We hope here to share our experiences... adventures... photographs and memories with you.
Darwin's Passage was a vessel of tremendous luck for us. When we purchased her in March of 2000, we literally signed the paperwork purchasing her, and selling our beloved Starkinder II on the same day. Exactly seven years later when we returned to Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale - exactly where we had left seven years before - we had a buyer flying out to see her. She had carried us through the tropics, through light airs in the horse latitudes, to raging gales and storms in the furious fifties and down to the South Shetland Islands off the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. Truly, a yacht to go everywhere. Darwin's Passage is continuing on, carrying a young family on a world wide adventure, while we adjust our lives to our new home on Cortes Island and explorations aboard DP's little sister, S/V Papa Rumba.
Here we chronicle our adventures. We appreciate your patience as we slowly rewrite and organize the many stories we have to tell.
